As a wife, mother, grandmother, and former foster mother, I promise to protect the sovereign, most basic unit of society, the family, against government intrusion or overreach on issues related to rights, relationships, religious liberties, freedom of thought, expression, and speech, as well as protecting parental rights and family economic and health freedom.
We must value and watch over the most vulnerable. I will always protect the right to life for all ages, including the unborn, the elderly, and the sickly.
I promise to keep parents, children and families as my top priority when making policies about education and community issues. Preserving parental rights in education is the optimal method for achieving the greatest educational outcomes for our children.
I promise to do my best to protect the sovereignty of the state of Utah from federal and international overreach.
I promise to seek out legislation that will preserve and restore a fair and honest election process in our state.
Whereas the backbone of a free society is the small business owner, I promise to strive to open more doors for small businesses to thrive throughout the state. My husband and I are both small business owners, and understand the challenges of starting and running a small business and the grit required to keep that business going through economic ups and downs. That grit is what our country and our freedom is founded upon. I will protect it.
Whereas the state of Utah is rich in land and natural resources that are often exploited and usurped, I promise to do my best to restore Utah lands to the state and to promote common sense usage of natural resources.
I promise to respect and promote in law the principles contained in the Constitution of the Untied States and the Constitution of Utah, including the right to bear arms.
I promise to do all within my power to preserve the agency and freedoms of the citizens of the state.
I believe in fiscal responsibility. Having built a business and run a non-profit without incurring any debt, I hope to bring common sense fiscal policy to light in discussions about state appropriations.
